Strength of Materials Laboratory is well-equipped for testing structural materials including steel, timber, concrete etc. and has a 100T electronic UTM, a 200T compression testing machine and a wood testing machine. Standard tests on building materials are routinely performed for government and private organisations as part of consultancy and testing activities.
