Dr. Puniethaa Prabhu is a Professor and Head of the Department of Master of Computer Applications at K.S. Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode, with over 26 years of distinguished academic, research, and administrative experience. She holds an MCA, M.Phil., PG Diploma in Bioinformatics, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science with specialization in Data Mining and Bioinformatics. Throughout her career, she has been committed to academic excellence, curriculum development, student mentoring, and fostering innovation in emerging technologies.
Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Scientific AI, Multi-omics Data Analysis, Cancer Informatics, and Computational Drug Discovery. She has published numerous research papers in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, authored books and book chapters with leading international publishers, and contributed to software development, patents, and biological data repositories. She is also a recognized Ph.D. Supervisor under Anna University and has successfully guided research scholars in interdisciplinary areas combining AI and life sciences.
Dr. Puniethaa has secured and coordinated externally funded research projects from prestigious agencies including DST, ICMR, AICTE, DBT, and DRDO, demonstrating her commitment to impactful research and innovation. She actively collaborates with researchers from academia, research organizations, and industry, while serving as a reviewer for reputed international journals and delivering invited lectures, keynote talks, faculty development programmes, and international webinars. Her contributions have significantly advanced research in computational biology, healthcare analytics, and intelligent systems

Rajan and the Chief Guests, Mr.S.Santhosh Kumar and Mr.N.C.Santhosh, accomplished professionals in the field of technology. As part of this memorable occasion, Mr. Balakrishnan.D, Assistant Professor in AIML, was officially appointed as the President of AEVA.
