The session enabled students to actively engage with fundamental concepts of force systems, fostering both conceptual clarity and practical insight, while preparing them for more advanced applications in engineering analysis and design.
...
Seminar
A demonstration session was organized to provide students with practical exposure to material formation processes and their significance in engineering applications. The session aimed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and industrial practices by showing how raw materials are transformed into usable engineering components. The demonstration allowed students to observe the sequence of operations, tools, and machinery involved, giving them a clearer understanding of how theoretical principles are applied in practice. systems.
...
Experiential Learning
A demonstration session was conducted to provide students with exposure to various additive manufacturing (AM) processes, which represent one of the most advanced and rapidly evolving technologies in modern engineering. The session aimed to help students understand how layer-by-layer fabrication techniques are applied to create complex components directly from digital models.
...
Field Visit
The students visited TVS Mobility on an educational field trip to gain a thorough understanding of heavy vehicle engines and their associated systems. The visit provided valuable industrial exposure, bridging classroom concepts with real-world applications in the automotive sector. The interactive session with industry experts allowed students to clarify technical doubts, understand practical challenges in engine maintenance and repair, and appreciate the scale and complexity of heavy vehicle systems.
...
Role Play
To gain a clear and practical understanding of value engineering (VE), students actively participated in a roleplay activity designed to simulate real-world engineering and management scenarios. The activity provided them with an opportunity to apply theoretical concepts of VE in a collaborative and engaging manner. During the roleplay, students assumed different roles such as design engineers, production managers, cost analysts, quality inspectors, and customers. This made learning interactive and impactful, reinforcing the importance of value engineering as a key tool for cost-effective innovation and sustainable engineering solutions.
...
Flipped Class
A session was conducted to enhance student’s learning and provide a clearer understanding of the concept of stress analysis, combining theory with practical demonstrations. Stress analysis, being a fundamental aspect of mechanical and structural engineering, was explained through both analytical methods and visualization tools. This session strengthened the foundation of stress analysis by making learning more applied, engaging, and industry-relevant, thereby preparing students for advanced studies in design, structural analysis, and material mechanics.
